This poster was created as a data visualization project to display the unhealthy effects of sugar, sodium, and fats on our bodies. I chose this topic because while obesity is a growing problem in America, so often the conversation is centered around individual responsibility rather than systemic issues. Popular, widely available foods have become so heavy in sugar, sodium, and fats, many people have no choice but to choose unhealthy food, whether it be due to cost saving or because they work too much to have time to cook healthier options at home.
